Meet the guys

Two Guys. Real Talk. Zero Fluff. Okay, maybe a little fluff.

George Henry

George Henry is a broadcaster, interviewer, and storyteller with three decades in radio, syndication, and podcasting. He got his start at WMUU in Greenville, SC, spent a decade on WRLT Lightning 100 in Nashville, and later led programming at WTZQ in the Carolinas. Today he owns and operates Coast Broadcasting in Florence, Oregon, serves as the newsman for the nationally syndicated Into the Parabnormal, and co-hosts the These Two Guys podcast with Larry Richardson. He’s also the creator and host of Doc Talk (2010–present).

The origin story goes back to 7th grade at Sacred Heart in Tucson, where George would slip into a tiny room off the outdoor courtyard, spin 45s on a beat-up record player, and talk about the songs over the school loudspeaker. First board, first audience—and the moment he realized a hallway can be a radio station.

Across the years he’s interviewed voices from politics, music, sports, and literature—names like Hillary Clinton, Peter DeFazio, Heath Shuler, Mark Meadows, Jewel, Billy Preston, David Cassidy, Natalie Merchant, Mark Lindsay, Tommy James, Gary Puckett, Lee Child, Barbara Taylor Bradford, Marci Shimoff, Judy Collins, and Olympic gold medalist Shannon Miller—plus hundreds of doctors, entrepreneurs, and innovators.

His one great vice? Taylor’s Pork Roll sandwiches. George talks about them the way gearheads talk about vintage microphones: crisp edges, just-right sizzle, maybe a fried-egg cameo. It’s a Jersey habit he refuses to outgrow—and the fastest way to turn a pre-interview into a friendship.

Larry Richardson

Born in 1970 in San Francisco, I grew up with the rhythm of urban life, spending much of my teenage years in the Hunter’s Point neighborhood. My mother worked as a seamstress for Levi’s, while my father was wrapping up his service as a naval officer. As the youngest of four boys on my mother’s side—and the youngest sibling in a blended family of one boy and three girls on my father’s side—I learned early on how to hold my own in a full house.

Like many, I started with the usual grind—fast food jobs and odd gigs—before finding my footing in the tech industry, where I’ve now built a solid 30-year career. Off the clock, I’m the go-to person for movie and TV show recommendations, a hobby that serves me well on trivia nights. I have a genuine appreciation for motorcycles and both new and vintage custom cars.

What I enjoy most, though, is conversation—especially on topics that are new or unfamiliar to me. Whether it’s a casual chat or a deep dive into something unexpected, I never pass up the chance to learn through dialogue.
